1. Participating Countries

Albania, Andorra, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Denmark, Germany, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Croatia, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Macedonia, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Austria, Poland, Portugal, Rumania, Russia, San Marino, Sweden, Switzerland, Serbia Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Czech Republic, Turkey, Ukraine, Hungary, Vatican City, United Kingdom, Belarus, Cyprus

2. Categories

• Nano tanks with less than 40 liter volume
• Standard tanks with more than 40 liter volume
• Wabikusa NEW!

3. Rules

1. Only for participants from the countries mentioned at # 1.
2. Three categories: Nano, Standard and Wabikusa, see # 2.
3. Only one work per participant per category.
4. Full frontal pictures only.
5. Format JEPG, minimum 3,1 megapixels resolution (i.e.: 2.084x1.536 info) und maximal 7MB in size.
6. No post editing is allowed but cropping out the full frontal view oft he tank.
7. The Organizer hast he right to proof the participant and to disqualify if their work is not matching with the contest rules.
8. The Organizer and Partners have unlimited and free of cost access to use the pictures.

4. IAPLC COMPLIANCE

IAPLC requires unpublished works. GAPLC will publish picture results after IAPLC, no problem participating both contests with same work.

Grading Guidelines

Judging criteria is split into 4 categories, total points of all together give a maximum of 100 possible points. The Grading is influenced through different criteria, as shown below.

Total impression (55 points)

• Hardscape
• Plants
• Cleanness
• Invertebrates

Photography skills (15 extra points)

• Exposure
• Sharpness
• Coloration

Plants (15 extra points)

• Plant condition
• Longevity of the layout
• Plant choice

Artistic creativity (15 extra points)

• Deepness
• Dynamic
• Unusual and new design elements

Category: Wabi-kusa

The grading is based on following criteria:

• Total impression (50 points)
• Choice oft he bowl (10 points)
• Plants condition (10 points)
• Flowers (10 points)
• Longevity (10 points)
• Photography skills (10 points)
